A diabetic man has succeeded in overcoming the condition in only nine months.
This happened as a result of weight loss, not due to a new drug or amazing diabetes treatment .
Martin Sotheran of Bournemouth used to weigh almost 21 stones when he was on Type 2 diabetes medication, had high blood pressure and high blood cholesterol .
He has been battling with his weight for ten years. The problem was that he did not eat healthily and used to drink alcohol regularly.
When he was warned he could be a Type 1 diabetic very soon, the 63-year-old grandfather knew he had to lose weight .
He then became a member of Slimming World and lost the necessary weight and beat his diabetic condition, after failing at numerous diets .
