Amelia Lily, the X Factor contestant, brought in to replace Frankie Coccozza, has disclosed that the show is not her only focus.
She has got diabetes which can result in blindness in time.
The 17-year-old, who has come back to X Factor, said that when she performs on this show she could fall into a diabetic coma as her body is most likely to produce more adrenalin during a performance.
She has been diabetic for 14 years and needs four insulin injections per day.
This has been her daily routine for over a decade yet she still needs to take the utmost care of her health .
She states that if she does not manage her diabetes properly then she could end up with long-term damage.
It is a serious condition whereby diabetics can end up blind if they have too many instances of high blood sugars .
Amelia came back to the competition when party boy, Frankie Coccozza, was removed from the show.
She had a head to head with Craig Colton and succeeded in winning upon receiving more votes than Craig.
