A toddler saved her diabetic mum's life by phoning for assistance when her mother collapsed into a state of unconsciousness.
Hazel Neil, who lives in Clackmannanshire, was playing with her daughter Rebecca when she went into a hypoglycaemic shock.
Rebecca phoned a family friend from her mum's touch screen mobile phone and informed her that "Mummy's hurt."
The friend was aware that Hazel has diabetes and then alerted family who live nearby to where Hazel was.
Hazel confirms that she has gone into a hypoglycaemic shock prior to this event. However, hubby, Alexander Neil, has always been with her to help her through it.
Hazel is still in a state of shock as to what a three year old is capable of.
She states that Rebecca had never seen her in that state before nor had she ever used the phone before.
Rebecca had never been allowed to play with the phone as her mum thought she was too young.
Her mother is now astounded as to how Rebecca was able to make the phone call that saved life.
