Diet and Fitness Crucial to Fight Against Diabetes

At the core of the fight against diabetes are a healthy diet and exercise .

The two go hand in hand, with the process of weight loss being more significant and lasting when approached through a healthy lifestyle.

Exercise does not have to consist purely of weight training and aerobic exercises.

There are several others including martial arts, dancing, badminton, tennis and yoga .

The minimum amount of exercise recommended for everyone is a minimum of 30 minutes a day, in order not to develop a sedentary pattern which then opens the doors to several lifestyle-related diseases.

Say if you find running for an hour too much, you could so some weight training, jog for 20 minutes and then do some yoga .

Losing weight necessitates doing an hour of aerobics, followed by weights training to lose the pounds and inches.
